Who we are

This website is operated by Cheshire Lead Water Main Replacement Limited, trading as The Lead Replacement Company. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 11256934, with our registered office at 178 Woodhouse Road, Urmston, Manchester, M41 8NU. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this site.

The information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us:

• When you request a quote or check your eligibility for the United Utilities grant, we collect the details you enter in the form: your name, email address, phone number, address, and postcode.
• When you call us, we collect the details you share with us on the phone.

We do not collect any other personal information through this site, and we do not buy personal information from anyone.

How we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, provide your free quote, arrange a survey, carry out any work you ask us to do, and help you with your United Utilities grant claim. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. We do not use your details for marketing lists, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who handles your information

• Netlify hosts this website and stores form submissions on our behalf. Netlify may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
• Google provides the advertising measurement on this site (see cookies below).
• If you choose to continue to the United Utilities website to claim the grant, you leave our site. We do not send your details to United Utilities; anything you enter on their site is covered by their own privacy policy.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies of its own. We use Google advertising tags to measure how well our advertising works and to show relevant adverts. These tags can set Google cookies in your browser for ad measurement and remarketing. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage how Google personalises advertising at adssettings.google.com.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any work that follows from it, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. When they are no longer needed, we delete them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive it in a portable format.
